British Geological Survey Maps Portal – The British Geological Survey now have online access to most of their publications, photos, geological mapping, borehole logs and geological data, including the links for the four maps covering the Leeds District above. There is a wealth of information at this site and it is well worth investigating.

British Geological Survey Geology of Britain viewer – An online, interactive version of the paper-based geological maps of the UK. These are the most current maps and are the ones now updated by the BGS. There are mobile apps of this map called iGeology available for mobile phones.
